Bio

Davide Tammaro is a Composer and Guitarist from Naples, Italy.

Davide holds Guitar degrees from the “San Pietro A Majella Music Conservatory” in Naples and from Berklee College Of Music in Boston, MA.
Some of the musicians/teachers Davide has had the privilege to study with include: Hal Crook, Mick Goodrick, Tim Miller and Wayne Krantz to name a few.

Private studies in composition include Maestro Justin Dello Joio, internationally acclaimed composer and Julliard/ NYU Professor.

In 2015, Davide completed a “Composition For Film and TV” certificate with Berklee Online Extension and the Symphonic Virtual Orchestration online course created by LA based composer Marc Jovani, focusing on the creation and sound of Orchestral Mockups.
Also, in 2017 Davide has been selected for the Society Of Composer And Lyricist Mentor Program in NY, a competitive program where industry professionals mentor a small group of selected upcoming composers. Some of the mentors included Chris Hajian, Mark Roos, and Greg Pliska.

Currently residing in NYC Davide writes concert Music and works as freelance composer writing media related Music for various Music libraries.

As guitarist he has recorded and performed with numerous artists in New York, Los Angeles, Boston, Abu Dhabi and in Italy.
Some festivals and media performances as guitarist include: SXSW in Austin TX, MTV west coast, Radio KIIS, Bite Size TV in Los Angeles CA, Folk Festival, Beantown jazz festival and Percussion festival in Boston MA, North Beach Bandshell in Miami, FL.
In 2015 Davide released “Ghosts”, an album including 9 original compositions in the style of Jazz/funk featuring some of the best musicians from the contemporary NY Music scene.
